The project consisted of the construction of a new 4 story office development, including associated car parking facilities
and extensive external works. In addition to the building construction works, the project incorporated the delivery of
external infrastructure and landscaping works, requiring detailed coordination between multiple subcontractors and
trades operating simultaneously within a constrained environment. Due to the site’s strategic location adjacent to
junction 24 of the M1 motorway, careful consideration was required in relation to logistics planning, traffic management,
and the coordination of construction activities to minimise disruption to existing traffic movements and surrounding
infrastructure. The site was controlled by an operational gatehouse, close liaison was maintained with the gatehouse
operators and client representatives to ensure all construction traffic, personnel, and deliveries were appropriately
managed and authorised prior to entering site.
